World Industrial Equipment and Materials Supply Chain Expo 2025 Launched in Foshan

On October 16, 2025, the 2025 World Industrial Equipment and Materials Supply Chain Expo (abbreviated as the World Industrial Expo 2025) commenced at the Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Centered around the core theme of “Intelligent Chain, Global Reach; Industrial Power, Future Forward,” the exhibition brings together hundreds of leading domestic and international enterprises. Together, they are exploring pathways for the green and intelligent transformation and upgrade of the industrial equipment and materials supply chain.

According to the organizers, building upon the foundation of previous editions, the 2025 World Industrial Expo has been upgraded with six dedicated core exhibition zones: Industrial Robotics, Smart Machine Tools, Automation Equipment, Aluminum Industry, Pipes & Plates, and Air Compressors. These zones collectively present a concentrated display of cutting-edge technologies, flagship products from industry leaders, and innovative solutions to a global audience of buyers, showcasing the latest advancements and future trends in global industrial technology.

Companies from 58 cities across 25 provinces, including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hunan, Henan, Anhui, and Jiangxi, are all in attendance. On the show floor, exhibitors are showcasing a series of "high-precision, high-performance, and specialized" products and technologies. For instance, Guangdong Bote Laser is displaying its self-developed front-pull type laser tube cutting machine, a technological breakthrough in the domestic market that addresses challenges such as limited workshop space for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Leveraging strategic synergy with the Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair), the organizing committee has directed targeted invitations to numerous overseas buyer delegations. On the opening day alone, thousands of major buyers from fields such as robotics, new materials, and high-end equipment manufacturing were present for on-site procurement.

To further enhance the practical effectiveness and influence of the expo, this year's event introduces the upgraded "Global Industrial Supply Chain Metaverse Cloud Platform." Building upon the 2023 Industrial Metaverse technology, this platform utilizes advanced technologies like virtual reality and big data to increase the efficiency of supply-demand matching by 40%, effectively breaking the constraints of time and space. (By Qiu Quanlin, China Daily Guangdong)
